Meyers Briggs Personality Index

So everyone's taken those online personality quizzes that tell you which Jedi Knight, Care Bear, or Smurf your are like. Today I took the actual personality test, the Meyers Briggs Personality Index, MBPI. I came out an ENTJ, which means Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. The actual numbers are 11% on Extroverted, 25% Intuitive and Thinking, and 67% Judging. That pretty close to what I got when I took it in college. I was XNFJ, which means that I wasn't really extroverted or introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. So apparently as I've gotten older I've become less feeling, more extroverted, and more thinking. The whole introverted/extroverted thing doesn't make sense to me anyway. I know people who are extroverted ALL the time, and some who are introverted all the time. I think for most people it's completely situational. For example, I am y extroverted at work and with my friends, and even in random social situations. However, sometimes I act introverted, not because I'm uncomfortable in a social situation, but because I just don't feel like talking to people. Other times, I'm actually uncomfortable talking to new people.

I took the test too and am ISTJ (78/1/25/100). I believe that was what I was when I took it the last time.

Introversion and extroversion are better interpreted by how you feel in crowds vs. being alone. Some folks after spending time in a group of people just need to get away for some alone time. These folks are very happy spending a whole lot of time by themselves, and may even need an outside force to get them out in the world to socialize. These folks are introverts. Other people just go nutty if they don't interact with people on a day to day basis. This type of person would absolutely hate telecommuting, they would "need" the regular interaction with co-workers. These are introverts.

Yup, I think you've got it there, except at the end I think you meant to say extroverts. I guess that's how I came out 11% Extrovert, talking to people wears me out, but I don't have any problems doing it.

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
