New Office

I'm all moved into my new office here at work. They reduced the number of people that work in the building by quite a bit so they are "consolidating" those of us who are still here into fewer areas. I'm not completely happy with the new office, and when I say office, I mean cube. It's smaller than my old office but actually has more storage space. I don't mind the size so much, but the annoying part is that I'm now so far interior to the building that my cell phone doesn't work at all. I walked to the front of the building yesterday and immediately got 3 voicemails. I also feel like I work in a cave more than ever. My old area didn't have any windows, but you coudl walk around the corner and look out the front entrance. Now it's a ways to the nearest window. I'm sure this winter there will be days where I literally never see the sun.

We watched the Lost Season finale last night. Now THAT was a season finale! (Heroes writers take notes please.) I realize everyone else probably watched weeks ago but we're behind. Extended entry has my comments in case your even further behind than me.

Wow the "Others" are pretty much done, they killed what? 12 of them in that episode! 10 on the beach and 2 in the underwater base. I'm also not sure if the crazy Russian dude died. He seems unkillable.

Charlie's death wasn't much of a surprise, it had been foreshadowed forever.

How about the resolution of the ultimate cliche scene? Ben tries to force Jack to give him the Sat Phone or he'll kill the three on the beach, AND JACK LETS HIM. That was great.

Also great was when Sawyer shoots a surrendered Tom and says " That's for takin the Kid off the boat."

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
